Our story begins on August 16th 1973, when Mino Gandola and his wife Flora opened the Salice Blu. From that day on, love for good food and respect for Lake Como became fundamental ingredients. Today his son Luigi keeps the tradition alive, adding that bit of creativity that conquers everybody.
Chef of Salice Blu Restaurant since 2005, Luigi Gandola is a well-known chef, also thanks to his appearances on TV shows. He based his profession on the ingredients of the territory: Lake Como and the mountains that surround it have always been his source of inspiration.
